Hey you! Get your mind out of the gutter!!!
Nude lipsticks are my go-to and I’m here to tell you all of my faves.
First up is the first nude lipstick I’ve ever bought. Take a trip down memory lane, before liquid lipsticks ruled the makeup scene and MAC lipsticks were all the rage. New to makeup I picked up Honeylove, $17, because it looked like a decent matte nude for my skin tone. This shade is too light for me to wear on it’s own, but paired with a lip liner it looks great. I like to use this lipstick to pop in the center of my lips on top of a darker lipstick/liner as a “lip highlight” to bring light to the center of my lips and make them fuller. It’s a light neutral beige that I think would work on medium to light skin tones. The matte formula from MAC is extremely comfortable and non drying on the lips.

Next up is my favorite nude of ALL time. L’oreal killed it with their Colour Riche formula infused with Omega 3, Vitamin E and Argan Oil to nourish and condition. Put this on dry, chapped lips and your lips will instantly look healthier. Fairest Nude, $8.99, is a light milky nude with a pink undertone. I always reach for this shade when working on clients and it never fails me! Make sure to pick this lipstick up and I promise you it will go on like butter.

My next pick is a deeper nude which is closer to my natural lip shade. It’s a combination of my favorite lip liner, peekaboo neutral, and NARS satin lip pencil in Rikugien, $27. Peekaboo Neutral, $3.49, is a wearable pink/peach liner that is creamy enough to fill your entire lips in. Top the liner off with Rikugien which provides a glossy sheer tint of rose to your lips to give your lips a natural healthy glow. It is my favorite MLBB (my lips but better) combo and it really just makes my lips look healthy and plump. It is darker than both of the nudes I have mentioned so far so it can work for most skin tones.
