Jermell Charlo Vs. Charles Hatley (April 22 , 2017)

*Super Welterweight*

Jermell Charlo vowed that he would have a breakthrough performance in his first 154-pound title defense, and he backed up that promise with a devastating knockout of Charles Hatley.

The knockout was sensational as Charlo punctuated a barrage of blows with a head-swiveling right hand that landed as Hatley missed with a left. The challenger fell face-first to the canvas and was out cold beneath the bottom rope on the ring apron as referee Harvey Dock immediately waved an end to the fight 32 seconds into Round 6.

Jermell Charlo defended his title for the first time since earning the vacant championship last May with an eighth-round KO over John Jackson in Las Vegas. He made history that night by joining Jermall as the first siblings to simultaneously hold 154-pound world titles

Amanda Serrano Vs. Dahiana Santana (April 22 , 2017)

*Woman’s Bantamweight*

Serrano knocked out Dahiana Santana in the eighth-round to win a vacant women’s bantamweight belt at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Amanda Serrano made women’s boxing history on Saturday night by becoming the first female fighter in boxing history to win world titles in five weight divisions.

Serrano, 28, has also won world titles at bantamweight, junior featherweight, featherweight, junior lightweight and lightweight. She won her titles in an unconventional manner to boot. Rather than rise in weight to win one title after another, she has gone down in weight to capture her belts.

Shawn Porter Vs. Andre Berto (April 22 , 2017)

Shawn Porter gained a ninth-round TKO of Andre Berto in a hard-fought 147-pound title eliminator between former world champions.

Porter was relentless as he pursued Berto around the ring, and he paid a price for it at times. The Akron, Ohio, native, who now lives in Las Vegas, continually marched forward and was cut over both eyes by accidental headbutts during the fight.

With the victory, Porter is now the No. 1 contender to one of the 147-pound world titles owned by Thurman, who eked out a close unanimous decision over Porter in Brooklyn last June. In the ring after the fight, Thurman said he welcomed another meeting with Porter.

Now the wait starts for Thurman and Porter to go at it again.

Anthony Joshua Vs. Wladimir Klitschko

(April 29th , 2017)

Joshua stayed undefeated, going to 19-0 (19 KO) with an 11th round stoppage of Klitschko (64-5, 53 KO) in a dramatic, back-and-forth fight that lived up to the hype and exceeded most reasonable expectations for action.

Ninety-thousand fans filled Wembley Stadium today, and no one should leave the grounds feeling cheated of their money after seeing the heavyweight firefight between Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko, in what wound up one of the best heavyweight fights in recent memory.

There are now several big fights that could await Joshua. As the IBF and now WBA titleholder, he could unify with Deontay Wilder (WBC) or Joseph Parker (WBO). If Tyson Fury gets into shape and wants to fight again, that’s a potentially massive fight. But there is a rematch clause in the contract, too, and Wladimir expressed interest after the fight in doing that.
