The World’s Most Powerful Facial

Itโ€™s finals week for most college students and is an incredibly stressful time. Unfortunately stress can manifest itself as breakouts on your skin. The perfect match for breakouts and stress is a clay mask. I started using clay masks when I got a sample of Glam Glow, a very popular mud mask that was first used on celebrities and made its way into the hands of consumers.

Glam Glow Supermud Clearing Treatment: $69 | and in stores at Sephora

Now while I still stand by the fact that the Glam Glow is a great mask and I saw visible results with it, there is a cheaper option which I feel does even a better job. Aztec Secret Healing Clay is an affordable, powerful mask. In fact, it says on the side of the jar that it is the world’s most powerful facial! This mask comes in powder form and you can mix it in with either water or organic unfiltered apple cider vinegar. The mask itself contains 100% calcium bentonite clay which acts as a magnet to pull impurities from your face. I have to actually prepare myself mentally before I apply this mask because it is so intense. You can feel the mask pulling out blackheads and oil in a rhythmic motion, like a heartbeat. It also has lasting effects such as promoting cellular repair on damaged skin. You can also customize this mask by adding essential oils for your skin. I like occasionally adding a couple drops of tea tree oil into this mask to once in a while to help further treat my acne. I notice a difference instantly after using this mask. My face is a little red at first when I wash it off but my acne scars are less noticeable and almost all of my stubborn blackheads are GONE. I can’t preach this stuff anymore than I already do.

    1. Yes, I have acne prone skin and it does not irritate my skin whatsoever. I would definitely stick to this brand if you can find it though because if alcohol or fragrance is added it can irritate your skin. This actually helps control my oil and acne ๐Ÿ™‚
